# RECORD YREC

## Yield-indexed IP Rights Exposure Certificate (YREC)

YREC is today an on-chain mapping certificate. Minted solely inside the Portal, it records, in a non-transferable, non-tradable form, the relative IP share of every mapped portfolio. It carries no economic, voting or redemption rights and remains an internal analytic counter, fully consistent with the current Terms.

Tomorrow, YREC evolves. Once the Portal has expanded its coverage to all major IP asset classes, the YREC framework will underpin a freely traded token that channels mapped insights into liquid exposure to patent royalties, licence fees, brand income and data streams. This future token will:

1. Tokenise future cash flows from diversified, royalty-backed notes, creating a new financial primitive centred on IP rather than tangible collateral.
2. Deliver instant diversification in a single asset, giving broad, curated access to global IP value without forcing participants through complex bilateral deals.
3. Bridge TradFi and DeFi, combining institutional-grade research with 24/7 crypto liquidity so that both professionals and retail users can engage an asset class long walled off by legal complexity.

The long-range goal is an open-ended, on-chain fund anchored in YREC—a vehicle that transforms the Portal’s knowledge graph into programmable capital. From there, YREC will seed indices, structured products and risk-management tools that establish intellectual property as a first-class real-world asset on blockchain rails.

The journey starts with mapping; it advances toward making IP investable at the speed of a token—unlocking the vast, undervalued engine of the modern economy for everyone.
